"Black Muddy River, for some reason this one hits differently. Deep down it makes me feel like everything will be ok. When a guitar solo continues the narrator’s story with intense emotion, the song just clicks. I soak myself in its bliss and tip my cap to the band"

"Can’t believe taken me tho long to review this show which was my third to last Dead"

"I’m going down the road feeling good after this one "

"It’s funny because bottom line: If you have to state here that Dead and Company should stay away from politics…. It’s simply because you follow the WRONG POLITICS!"
Scott W — 8/10/2022 3:28:30 PM
"Although I definitely agree they should cut out the political BS..."

"Great show! No idea what Swanny is talking about. This was best tour in years by them, really kicked up the tempo and sound system was fantastic! Just wish they'd finish GDTRFB with more gusto like GD in early 70s. It just kind of ends flat and needs a few escalating choruses."

"This was my favorite show of the tour! JM was playing/singing with the most soul I've seen from him! Black Muddy River encore is a MUST listen "

"Went to this show and it was fantastic! Been listening to other shows from the tour on here as well but I keep coming back to this one. John and Bobby’s vocals sound so good and the second set is classic Dead. John was definitely on fire, hoping we can do it again next Summer. Fingers crossed!"

"Was fortunate to catch 9 shows on the tour, and while they were all special in their own way, I do find myself coming back to listen to this one probably the most. Unlike others here I didn’t find the first set tame whatsoever. I found it inspiring. The Throwing Stones. C’mon. Killer. I won’t get into the highlights of the 2nd set other than to say the encore brought me to tears. And I didn’t cry a little. And that’s never happened. Felt like a tribute to Jerry 1 day from the anniversary of him delivering that as his final song performed on stage. Hit heavy for me. All the years combine…. Indeed. Very grateful for this band and the incredible work Bob’s done in nurturing and exploding the legacy of the Grateful Dead. Who’da thunk it ??"

"Killer show. Tame first set made way for some deep exploratory avenues in the 2nd set. Highlights for me were PITB and Lovelight. Great Terrapin and UJB as well. "

"This show was FIRE. Amazing is putting it mildly. Top 3 of tour if not better. "

"I disagree with Swanny. I didn’t see this show but I’ve seen them twice this year (Chicago 2nd night and Philly). They are so hot right now they mine as well be on fire. Absolutely killing it."

"Ok, I'm just gonna say it. This wasn't that good. Saw JRAD the week before and that's a bar this band isn't even getting close to. Not a troll, seen D&C a dozen times, always have love for Bobby, but there's just not much magic left. 2nd set was buzzing but 1st set was just the same old stuff they pull out at Bristow with a bunch of ham-fisted political video overlays to disguise how uninspiring the music has become. "

"Holy smokes, vocals on Terrapin. Fire"
Jonathan Collier — 7/14/2022 8:43:10 AM
"This show was absolute fire. John was singing at his best. Everyone was just completely smoking. They jammed all night. They was firing on all cylinders for sure. I’ve seen 7 Dead and Co shows and this was the best. "

"Absolute smoker first time back to jiffy lube live since 95 Bluee Traveler show.. As to the Politics all good to share your voice. To the review about the 15% not on board you divide us not bring us together. " Thought I heard a baby cry thus Morning " I'm sure you dance and tear up during that as most of us do. All walks of life come to the shows TURN ON YOUR LOVELIGHT!!!"

"The second set was amazing Terrapin Station and Black Muddy River John sang that very soulful. Jerry would have approved I think. This was a really good show overall. "

"Bristow always has great vibes - seems the chilliest of heads flock to this venue. Never any overly f'd up people, everyone is kind, respectful. First set made a powerful statement but second set was like a dream set for me. Only second best to Austin 2017. It was creative, locked-in, and inspired. The crowd during love light was a sight to see. All around great show!"

"My first Dead & Company show and what an amazing night! Set list was great and the band sounded flawless. The weather forecast had called for rain all night but it held off until the final two songs. Listening to Black Muddy Water in the rain was like a spiritual cleansing. Can't wait to attend my next show ??"
Silly Billy — 7/11/2022 8:09:17 PM
"2nd set damn good. Some of the most inspired playing I have heard from Dead & Co. So far."

"I love that this band shares my politics and says so at their concerts. For the maybe 15% of you who have the ‘OTHER’ politics, I don’t know how y’all are dancing at the same shows thinking you’re part of the old school family scene…YOU’RE NOT"
thad — 7/11/2022 6:12:12 AM
"This was an amazing show. The band was locked in and having a great time. It was a solid blues flavored show. John was in a zone. Bobby was the strongest I’ve heard him in a while. Drums/Space was a strong performance and Turn on Your Love Light was amazing. The crowd seemed to be locked in from the first song and we all went on the ride. Truly a special show."

"Hands down your best show I’ve been to! I took my sister with me. She has been a deadhead for a long time and this was her first show. We were second row in the pit and we can honestly say it was magical!! The set list was the best we’ve seen on this run! THANK YOU!"
Great show — 7/10/2022 9:55:04 PM
"Best playing in the band they’ve ever done. The band is really really going somewhere suddenly this tour it’s kinda crazy. Also imagine believing Jerry wouldn’t be 100% onboard with this band and their “political” stance. Y’all are delusional. Vote. "

"Had a fantastic time! First set had me a little less than Impressed, but by the time the second set was underway it was more than made up for. I feel like the band went to some really special places that night. The rain during Stella Blue was beautiful to watch. Me and my friend found a little tree toward the back that kept us dry and safe all night. Anyone that is wondering if Dead and Company are worth the time need to hear a show like this!"
