"I originally responded to the Dead Head request in the Skull and Rose album in '71. Jerry Garcia was a super human. That being said, with Bobby Weir as front-man, this band is going places I never would have dreamed possible since that fateful day in '95. Fantastic show. "

"This was an amazing show. The weather was brilliant and the band was both perfectly loose and perfectly tight. I was on my feet for the whole show along with almost the entire bowl. Shakedown in the #2 spot told us we were in for something special."

"I’ve seen these guys five or six times. I didn’t have great seats at this show. I wasn’t high. Even so, this was the best of their concerts. The reason is that they are much more bluesy funky and dancy than I’ve ever seen them. The concert felt like Dead meets Thievery Corporation. These guys finally have a groove. I guess that guitar and bass players can sometimes talk lead singers into changing their act after 55 years. "

"Such a great show! So many highlights and for me the Bertha, New Minglewood Blues, and Bird Song were extra special in the first set. In the second set, the Sugaree was smokin’ and China/Rider really soared. The sound was amazing at the bowl! Peak experience for sure! ??"

"Mid-Shakedown, they just took off and declared this a jazz/bluesy night. Wonderful communication between all of them, John and Jeff as I’ve never seen them grinning at each other, Bob in great voice and very playful. Oteil having a blast and a powerful comfortable contributor to Drums/Space. They had So. Much. Fun. This year. They have reached a whole new level of being Their. Own. Band. A joy to experience"
