"hate to say it because i’ve been a huge fan of billy for years , saw him last year at kentish town and came away mesmerised, so much so that got tickets for london and birmingham this year, unfortunately left both shows feeling more than a little disappointed, it all just seemed, dare i say “self indulgent “ bordering on boring, it kills me to say it because i really am a fan, but i definitely wasn’t alone as i heard various other attendees voicing similar opinions, our friends from across the pond definitely seemed to enjoy it, and i doubt it will put me off purchasing tickets if he visits next year,"

"‘Average excellent’ doesn’t even begin to accurately describe how superb a performance this is from Billy and ‘his boys’ as he aptly puts it. The Roundhouse was the largest hall, and toughest crowd to win in over, for the entire European tour (and frankly all of Billy’s Euro-travels to date). He chided the audience early on to be more lively. But he needn’t have bothered - the song selection and intensity of the bands’ playing were more than enough to mold the eagerly pliant audience like soft putty."
