"Boots were on the ground. My fourth show of 2024 and I have to say, the first set got off to a little bit of a slow start. Slow Ready and Tumble absolutely saved the first set and the dance party got kicked off as soon as set 2 started. Forever grateful for this band and so happy to see them in my city. FF encore… LFG!!!!!"

"I second Henry. They seemed a touch lost for direction. The first set was lackluster. The second set was fairly short but fun. However, a nye show bringing in the quarter century, I had more expectations. I was there and love these guys but I thought they left a little on the table. Love goose and all you . Happy new year!"

"What a great show. Loved the energy. The celebraish at midnight was spectacular! I would like the whistler in the crowd (who may also have been at the Capitol Theatre) to know that the whistling is super-annoying on the re-listens. "

"Was there in my usual spot towards the back and Pete side and it was really really fun. Prob my favorite two day run in like 30 years of planning nye adventures. Venue security definitely was a lil over the top but I guess Billy strings caught em with their pants down. Each night was dope, this band is young, having fun, and enjoying each moment for what it is. That makes for fun funky experimental over the top jams, some real crowd favs emerging after ten years of playing together and one hell of an nye night without a giant gag. I love the gag and I’m not knocking it, but only phish does it right, a lot if bands do it wrong, and in grateful a formal affair has its own vibe, flavor, and encouraged people to really step it up, step out, and have a good time. That means goose gets its a circuit between the fans and them. That’s the basic ingredients for decades of shenanigans like this. No they aren’t the next phish just like phish wasn’t the next dead. They are goose and I really fucking like this band for who they are. Good. Tight. Jam heavy with funk. Like this show. "
