Show Notes
Intimo, the elegant new release from vocalist Yolanda Aranda and guitarist Enrique Coria, is a musical love story. A recording of stunning beauty and simplicity, Intimo presents authentic contemporary Latin American Canciones on a level of high artóthe perfect marriage of voice and guitar.
Enrique Coria is no stranger to Acoustic Disc fans. His unique guitar artistry may be heard on his own Solos from South America (ACD-6) and Latin Touch (ACD-23), as well as on recordings by the David Grisman Quintet, of which he has been a member for the past nine years. Yolanda Aranda, a diva of incredible power, makes an auspicious solo recording debut with her passionate interpretations of classic songs from Mexico, Argentina, Peru and Portugal.
This fortunate pairing of a first generation Mexican American singer and a native Argentine guitarist offers a beautiful glimpse into yet another amazing realm of acoustic music.
