"1st show. I had only learned about these guys the summer before at a campsite in Nobelsville. Amid the general sounds, including the trademark psss of a yet unseen nitrous tank, was this undeniable groove wafting through like an invisible tapestry of nuggetry.. I tracked down the source like it was a freshly baked apple pie just placed outside some old lady’s windowsill. Two dudes under a pop up tent told me a tale of a band emerging from the mid west like a line of thunderstorms… the rest, as they say, is a long trail of jams annihilating faces from town to town and city to city. More specifically, this show is still one of the best if not the best show I’ve ever been to. Very, very locked in on the funk front. Check it out!"
