"Bee Jam gets very atypical funky."

"Opening Jam is good.  Resembles ATW towards the end.  When It Falls was the clear first set highlight.  Fantastic Cory;  Nick and Jordan drive the pulsing tempo. Mike, content just building the funk, stays in the background until it's time for the peak and send them crashing into Bee Jam seemlessly. Set 2 - Soil finds some space-driven funk grooves, not dissimlar to When It Falls.  There's a short stretch - say from 11:40 - 12:30 where everyone is clicking together in a way I haven't heard yet.  In this minute, they're playing like a band who's been together 5 years, not 5 weeks.  There are some subtle communication queues and responses if you listen closely. Jailhouse - might as well be a FTP, since it sounds nothing like their first actual cover of this song (12/30/18).  To be fair, Jordan is the only one to have played this song both times (as the first version featured Brian, Cam, and Red).  As a result, this version of Jailhouse is completely different and sounds like Spafford making it their own.  The first time was a very literal interpretation of the song, and featured both Jordan and Red on guitar, and Brian on Bass. It takes a few minutes but Diesel Driver gets weird (good) a minute or two before the segue into the nights 3rd and final cover, Tequila. LTLO is relatively concise, but the second jam has a few nice Cory/Mike moments worth checking out."

"Great first set. Too much Corey in the second set. Let Mike do his thing. Wilmington show was a great example of letting him rip and it sounded great "

"People being shocked at how good Mike is is a tad bit disappointing, nonetheless he is on fire with the boys. Hoping Brian is back at full strength in no time, but also hoping we see more of Mike in other capacities "
