Show Notes
With the return of original drummer, Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, after a three year absence, Motorhead were back on the road promoting their new studio album, 1987's Rock 'N' Roll. London's Brixton Academy was the final show after months of touring around Europe and on December 23rd 1987, the band gave their loyal following an early Christmas present with their anthem studded set. It's interesting to note that the band wanted this set to be used as their second official live album, however, a different show was eventually allocated for this honor for what became the album, No Sleep At All. Combining classics from the band's early days ("Stay Clean," "Metropolis" and of course, "Ace Of Spades") with cuts from the band's then new album ("Dogs," "Traitors," and "Stone Deaf In The USA"), Live At Brixton delivers with time honored ferocity. This re-mastered release adds five bonus tracks revealing, for the first time, the show in its entirety.
