Thoughts on the show from Ambrose Kenny Smith:
”Milwaukee is one of the coolest cities in the world, it’s the home of The Fonz so go figure. I had bought this blue fishing vest at a thrift store a few days prior but what I didn’t realise was that it was made from polyester. It was the end of summer but it was still cooking in the heat so I was doomed. Whilst getting ready to soundcheck at the Riverside Theatre, Juicy and I had a little ride on our shred sleds by the water. We could see the line was getting bigger and bigger and the fans started getting closer and closer to our session so we went back inside and got ready for the show. Before going on to play I had a little pick me up with an espresso martini, amongst other things. Needless to say I had a hell of a time! I was wiggling like a worm in the dirt and shaking all my tail feathers. We were feeding off the energy from the audience so much that it sent us all into a frenzy, especially me. I ended up sweating so bad in the blue fishing vest, it had me smelling worse than ever before. I had my classic red hot sweat rash firing up all over my chest and back with hundreds of these gross tiny pimple looking things, yummy! After the show we had some celebratory shots of tequila and I proceeded to jump around the greenroom whilst channeling my inner leprechaun, Stu was my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. A bunch of us including the guys and gals from orb and stonefield ran upstairs to the empty catering room to start a dance party with our ue boom cranking. All the dinner tables were still there so I lined them all up together and body surfed across to the other side. Luckily no furniture was hurt in the process of getting tubular. The last thing I remember was Cal Shortal straddling me on a chair trying to kiss me. Sometimes you’ve just gotta let it all hang out ya know?”
