"Congrats to the person from New Hampshire that saw Thais show instead of the one at Northlands. This one was infinitely better. Glad to see such a great show in NC! Love these boys. "

"My son (who is 40), and I traveled from New Hampshire to see this show. We unfortunately missed the Northlands show in Swanzey, NH, which is 10 minutes from my house. Given the awful weather forecast of storms, it was very lucky that it only drizzled a bit after a short pre-show lightning delay. The venue is super. The ski slope where the crowd sits is gentle, and you don't have to constantly hold back your chair from tipping forward. There were many booths for food and sundries, and plenty of facilities. The sound system was terrific, as was the lighting. There was a large screen only on one side of the stage, which we couldn't see because of the sound mixing booth. It was not a big issue, but a minor annoyance. The opening act, The Motet, played an interesting funk and showed real talent and a tight sound. Their songs, however, seemed all very similar. Greensky Bluegrass was just great. They played an interesting mix of songs, weaving in some that are not typical of their set lists. I enjoyed the variety. Highlights were extended versions of Don’t Lie and Leap Year. It Ain't Mine Any More, Fixing to Ruin and Run or Die were also extra special. Overall, it was a great night of music that we thoroughly enjoyed and definitely worth the trip. We met a guy who lived not far from us in Massachusetts (we live in Southern NH), so traveling a long distance to see this extraordinary band seems routine. I am not sure why GB only played one set, but we got a full 2 hours of music in any event."
