Show Notes

A rare stop in Omaha prompts Springsteen to include six songs from Nebraska in this 26-song set from the Wrecking Ball tour. The show opens with a rollicking "Reason To Believe," a horn-driven "Johnny 99" and a potent "Atlantic City." Rarer still is a solo electric take of "State Trooper" (in the song's last performance to date) and the only band arrangement of "Highway Patrolman" since 1985. Sign requests include "Sherry Darling," "Lost In The Flood," "Trapped" and the season's first "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" in the encore.

Bruce Springsteen - Lead vocal, guitar, harmonica; Roy Bittan - Piano, keyboards; Nils Lofgren - Guitar, pedal and lap steel, banjo, backing vocal; Garry Tallent - Bass; Stevie Van Zandt - Electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, backing vocal; Max Weinberg - Drums; Jake Clemons - Tenor saxophone, percussion, backing vocal; Charlie Giordano - Organ, keyboards, accordion; Soozie Tyrell - Violin, acoustic guitar, percussion, backing vocal; Everett Bradley - Percussion, backing vocal; Curtis King - Backing vocal, percussion; Cindy Mizelle - Backing vocal; Michelle Moore - Backing vocal; Barry Danielian - Trumpet; Clark Gayton - Trombone; Eddie Manion - Baritone and tenor saxophones; Curt Ramm - Trumpet

"I’m listening to the show right now, a couple moments have brought some tears. The sound is great. I’m up to my city of rooms. Love this show., but every time a new show is released. I’m always hoping for new Jersey 1992 opening and closing night. I want those shows so bad! Hope they have them and I hope they release them. But I listen to every single show they release. We also need the carousel show unedited! The whole show. Clarence‘s last time with the band. But this review is supposed to be about this show and this show was great so far and I expect it to continue that way."
