"The third night is always the best night at Horning's!"

"Simply a phenomenal show. The first set alone is worth the price, and the second set is just gouda on the cake. Even better than the Ryman show from last year, which also featured Sam Bush, this show encompasses some of the best qualities of the band: colorful and creative improvisational passages, true synergy with the special guest, the right mix of acoustic and electric, and some hilarious banter. I didn't get to go to Horning's this time around, but the crazy energy of the venue is almost palpable on this recording."

"FINALLY. A great show. Something that made the trip from NYC to PDX worthwhile. This show was on fire, Sam Bush is an amazing musician who fed into and off of everything Cheese did, picking up the riffs and the structure of their songs after hearing just one verse. He made songs I've heard dozens of times interesting to listen to again. The Galactic in set one was righteous. The ENTIRETY OF SET TWO, start to finish, was technically beautiful and inspired playing. The Rivertrance, the Late in the Evening jammed straight into IIWII, the Rocketman sandwiched in a muscly and mean Close your Eyes jam...This show made me cry twice. Way to save the best for last :)"
