"So cool to see this show again 10 years later. So much energy and happiness in crowd all night. The Space Cowgirl was really cool and the Shine my favorite cheese jam ever at this one. "

"Anyone remember the late night group hoot at the Embassy? Felt like that building was going to collapse. Awesome weekend->"

"One ridiculously fantastic good time with 10,000+ fans in costumes being treated to 3 amazing sets of music. Great vibe all night with a wacky 2nd mothership set including a super sized REM sandwich filled with a ton of classic covers. As I told Cornel Sanders the secret ingredient is definitely CHEESE! Can’t wait for a Five Night Winter Carnival Extravaganza!!!!!"

"can someone point me in the direction of the LIVEBEATLES site for downloading their shows. i just can't seem to find it. because everyone knows, they are the greatest band in the history of music. thank you THE GRATEFUL DEAD as well as Cheese, Phish, Yonder & SO SO many other bands for getting out there year after year, decade after decade, doing what you love and what we love. you have made my life a very interesting, fun and wonderful life. when times are good or bad, happy or sad, i turn on some of your art and it brings me back to so many great times with so many great people. and thank you nugz.net for not making us BEG tapers anymore to get the shows and having to wait for them to trickle down the flow of people in the know for getting the show. peace, love, light & music! WHAIRNT ;)> JG "

"Hulaween was eff'n amazing and I don't know how y'all can say otherwise. But I will say that I could feel some of the band getting mad for gettin hit with glow sticks all night. That ain't cool so come on... it ain't hard to throw em' in another direction. Overall GREAT show!!!"

"Whats with the beef with the second set? I know End of the World and Fly like an Eagle we a bit iffy but Mothership Connection! Major Tom!! Space Cowboy!!! GROVE IS IN THE HEART!!!! they could have played just that and I would have been happy. Parliment, Jamiroquai and DEE LITE, that set was straight FUNKY HEAT BABY and it was ILL AS FUCK. Had a great weekend, not quite the '04 Madison Hulaween, but mos def just as much fun, gotta love a cheese hulaween show and any cheese show for that matter, great band and truely some of the best people. Never a reason to hate just have a good time, and please everyone, stop comparing Cheese and Phish, they aren't the same. They are both great and they both put a great live show, lets just enjoy them while we can, they won't be around forever. And who cares if they sounded better back in the day, so did the Grateful Dead but Ill still go see senior citizens in Further, live music is about having a good time we don't need to point out the obvious that they were better in their prime, if you want to bitch about recent shows, please just stay home and listen to your old recordings. We dont need your shitty vibes."

"Some of you may have read an extremely negative review I posted on this site last Sunday. I just wanted to apologize publicly for what I wrote, it was completely unnecessary and I feel bad for having done it. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions I apologize for mine being so vulgar."

"went both nights. loved both. great to see the boys in the mothership. hopefully they can return next summer for an outdoor gig at the N-Telos Pavillion! 2nd night 2nd set was tough to wrap my head around at the time but it certainly makes sense now. Liza Oxnard and Keller are always great additions. seemed to rock deep in the night. can't wait for my copies of the show to crank da stank!!!! Oh yeah, phish is o.k. also."

"Alright, first off; i was at the show and it was off the hook! Such high energy and great vibes all night! I have no complaints at all. Lot's of awesome covers as goes Halloween every year! I'm seing some mixed reviews about the second set but my personal opinion being someone who was about 12 rows from the stage for the intirety of it. IT WAS SICK! Now, being both a PHISH and SCI fan, I have no desire to get into a pissing contest between fans. Both throw amazing shows and blow your mind...and the Mothership experience was a fine example of why i love the Jam Band scene! "
Karl — 11/2/2010 10:47:17 AM
"Just the facts. 1) The sound on these downloads is much better than the sound inside the Mothership. It is almost like listening to a different show. 2) there are sound and mix issues that keep this download from being as good as it could be. 2a) Kyle's microphone stops working for the first verse of 21st Century... 2b) Kang's amplifier cord snaps crackles pops and dies ... 2c) Keyboard mix is erratic in the first set. (sometimes WAY TOO LOUD) 2d) Such is life. 3) A Hulaween Incident is something you must experience in the flesh. No audio recording can capture the whole experience. 4) Highlights ... 1) Rivertrance! 2) Shine Enjoy"

"Anyone who says that this show was off or lame in anyway must not have been experiencing the same show I was. This incident was not just a show, everyone was participating and really getting into the groove. 2nd set chock full of covers was absolutely killer. The mothership was soaring into space and when Keller and Liza came out for Mothership Connection, it was clear that we had resurfaced somewhere outside our native realm. At some moments things seemed a little loose, but it just added to the party atmosphere, these were mostly premiers in the 2nd set so give the guys a break they crushed it on these songs. I've definitely seen Phish completely flop a few cover premiers (In the Aeroplane Over The Sea at Merriweather) and I still thought that was a great show. Altogether incredible time and great vibes, if you left there with a bad taste in your mouth it was probably your fault. Long live SCI! Thanks everyone for an awesome time!"

"The one thing i hate is when people come on here and bitch. What the hell is that matter with all you people who do this? What would you rather have, cheese back playing or still on hiatus? Answer that question and that will decide if youre a true fan of their music or just someone who has nothing better to do than ruin the great vibe this band gives everyone. I drove across the country to see them and didnt have one bad moment. I am pumped that they are back and will go anywhere to see them and will not say one negative thing about it cuz they could not be playing at all!!!! REMEMBER THAT!!!!!!!"
JohnnieBrown — 11/1/2010 1:00:07 PM
"You guys are nuts ..both bands are capable of putting on awesome shows ..but after seeing 5 nights of Phish last week and seeing Hulloween this weekend .. the energy at the Hulloween shows blew the Phish shows out of the water"
josh — 11/1/2010 11:59:49 AM
"Yea seriously you people need help, SCI was fuckin awesome, ok i agree the second set was weak as shit do to poor song choices, but they still played them songs the best i have ever heard em and that is hard to do considering they werent good songs, but that just made the third set even better, comparing them to phish is just stupid considering they play two completly different styles of rock n roll, heres a thought for all you pessimistic losers that are downing cheese, go see phish and go on phish' site and say how great they are and leave sci tickets to people who enjoy good music and dont bitch online like little pussys. and who cares if your a phish vet, no one cares. Peace and love to all my FOC cant wait for the winter tour hopefully keller might add on in, and if we dont got a sci tour shit eoto is still tearing shit the fuck up. eat a hit download this show and stop bitchin, peace."

"hey, what is this? a match between the two best jam bands ? i am from germany and i never had the chance to see a concert of SCI or Phish. but what i know is that both bands are great. i have listened to about 120 shows of SCI and about 100 shows of Phish and i think there no reason to say this band is better than the other. i am greatful that both bands are alive and well. and i hope that they know that there are a lot of people who wants to see them one time, outside ihe USA. you are great!"

"Oh Lord. Looks like a couple of nasty trolls have stumbled over from that muck filled swamp called LivePhish. If you ignore them they will go away. They just need a hug or two and personally, I don't want to get my clothes dirty. Praise Cheesus:)"

" Thank you for another AMAZING incident!!!! ? Much Love ?"

"Whats with all the negativity being posted? I am as big a Phish fan as anyone(since '93 and was at Hampton reunion and have seen 6 shows since then) and I was blown away at Hulaween. Both nights were amazing and anyone who was there will testify to this. Why does one have to be better than the other, just enjoy"
txkaje — 11/1/2010 9:52:46 AM
"I love when people compare bands. It's like comparing favorite colors. All I see when I read those comments is "Oh yeah green is WAY better than orange". Anyone arguing over what they like verses what other people like are just letting everyone know where they stand intellectually and socially. I pity those that have to make comments about what band is better. Wish them luck and growth. They need both. BTW, the shows were awesome. Any show in the space ship is awesome."
Noah — 11/1/2010 7:02:21 AM
"Amazing show. I've loved SCI for many many years now and this was my first show, and what a first show it ended up being. Wasn't completely happy with the second set though. I feel that three sets should have had a few more "cheese classics", like Birdland and Missin' Me. ...Still not disappointed with the show - they jammed out with amazement. Gurth... sorry you're unhappy with the show but if you would have been there you would have had a second opinion, because being there live is something that no download or CD could ever compensate for. Again, amazing show and the Mothership is where it's at! Please come back to the east coast!"
Gurth — 11/1/2010 6:58:38 AM
"Deez- If you think that these are good shows, it's too bad you didn't see them even as recently as 2006, which was a year that they tore a hole in the universe. These "Incidents" are reunion shows and the playing/tightness reflects that. Was at Hornings and the scene was kind and fun and I was so happy to be back with one of my favorite bands, but the shows were pedestrian when compared to the past. Good, not great. Don't know what Phish you saw this year but the 7 I saw this year were smokin' and yes, I'm a Phish vet also. Since it seems obligatory... first show 4/9/93 @ State Theater in Minneapolis. Nanner, nanner!"

"Looks like a few folks ended up with some bad ganga cakes. That was a groovy two nights. Great venue. Good party on the floor near my camp. We were flying. People up in the seats looked like they were groovin' too. And, the band was on! The sets provided a super flight path! Thanks for the good times everyone! DD"

"WOW....This was my first SCI show. I was blown away with the energy, set lists, costumes, and pure FESTIVAL FEELINGS. It was like a Dead show and Rave all rolled up into one. Just want to jam and dance some more. Well I can dream until next time while listening to the download!"
