Show Notes
Tractorbeam was conceived as a different concert experience...something more akin to a DJ club set than a traditional rock concert. As Tractorbeam, The Disco Biscuits play completely instrumentally and reinvent their songs by removing the vocal sections.
Returning to the Chameleon Club in August 2007, Tractorbeam unleashed yet another fierce onslaught of trance-fusion. Right out of the gates, the band launched into an instrumental cover of Muse's "Take a Bow."
The first set also contains a standout version of "Lunar Pursuit" as well as the band's second time playing "Papercut," which had recently debuted at Camp Bisco 6. The second set starts off with a great version of "Glastonbury" which smoothly segues into the end of "Save The Robots." "Spaga," preceded by a short version of Guns N Roses'
"November Rain" cap off a fantastic set.
We are very pleased to share this live experience with you and hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to vote for the 2008 Jammys at http://www.jammys.com

"wow this show is amazing. Thank you so much for releasing this for the fans. We really appreciate all you have done as a band and as fans love hearing shows that are of this nature. This in my opinion is what the disco biscuits are all about...amazing free form improv jams that are so progressive the fans cannot even keep up. I love how these shows are packed so full of energy, you can almost hear crowd losing their minds. Both nights that summer at the chameleon will live on in the hearts of the few bisco fans who were able to witness the greatness entitled, tractorbeam. Tractorbeam is the essence of progressive trance fusion and these shows will be played by bisco fans across the USA easily all summer leading up to camp bisco. Hopefully this is not the last live gem that will be released, because I know that Magner's Back pocket is still bursting at the seams with unreleased live recordings. Thanks again to my favorite band for releasing this musical masterpiece. aTOTHe"
