"out of my 50 or so KD shows I think this one was my favorite. I’ve had a long-standing ding crush on Holly and this was my first time seeing her. I was introduced to this music by Railroad Earth as a young man, so I’ve always loved Tim Carbone but seeing him with the Dwellers showed me a deeper, goofier more vulnerable side of the genius fiddle player. hearing the six live band play Long Way to Go meant a whole lot and it was truly beautiful. Holly’s fills really shine on that track. and of course the fellas didn’t hold back at all despite the innocent and uninitiated audience. honestly the second set may have been the most psychedelic set I’ve seen from the Dwellers. then we’ve got that seven devils. I never would have expected that monologue. I’d never heard the story despite my history of living and playing in the area. it was creepy and enthralling and dark and wonderful and really just capped off the night. even without the monologue it was the most psychedelic seven devils I can think of. just an incredible example of genius introducing itself to a new audience. "
