Since her breakthrough in 2020, acclaimed singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun has been hailed by Rolling Stone as “Nashville’s most low-key musical revolutionary” and celebrated for her uniquely vulnerable voice. Oladokun has released three highly acclaimed albums: 2021’s in defense of my own happiness and 2023’s Proof of Life, and 2024's Observations From a Crowded Room, which marks a significant evolution in her career. This 15-track collection comprised of 12 songs and 3 interludes reflects her growth as an artist and producer, blending her pop-folk roots with electronic and psychedelic elements. Solely written and produced by Oladokun, the album represents a personal and artistic turning point, crafted during a period of introspection and questioning. In addition to releasing new music, Oladokun is embarking on an extensive tour that includes dates with Hozier and Tyler Childers, along with select headline shows.
