"This is the best Cheese show I had the good fortune of attending. The vibes were high and the performance was stellar. The flow of the show is incredible! Chock full of perfectly placed moments of everything that made Cheese great in the late 90's early 00's! Every moment felt a part of the last and the next... if that makes any sense. An absolute must-listen!!!"

"I think this is the best top to bottom front to back show that Cheese ever played. Thomas Wolfe was a tough ticket, and that place was dripping. Every song is played tight, at the right time, right pace and flow, etc. Some all timer versions — CAYA, Smile (yes better than 11/17 I think), Rivertrance, and Rollover > Lands End > Rollover. I think those are all peak. High on A mountain. Blazing latinissmo. Everything, just perfect. I too saw the kid fall out of the balcony and hop up dancing. Show changed me."

"Been waiting for this one. I was 7 months old when this hometown incident took place, and it'll always be one of my favorites. Monumental Rivertrance!"

"This is the show that hooked me. The jams outta Missin Me and Joyful are incredible. The Glory Chords-> Rollover is what got me coming back. Listened to this show over a thousand times."

"This is the big one for me. My third Incident, it was long sold out by the time I woke up that Saturday morning to a phone call from a friend I met at the Ritz two nights before (we actually met at the Flecktonea a month earlier, but he saw me outside the Ritz and I joined his group for the show). His brother couldn't make the show and he had an extra, did I want it? I had hoped for a possible ticket so much I had taken off that weekend in case. So, he picked me up and we headed up to Asheville and my first taste of the vibe of an Asheville Incident and the acoustics of Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Still my favorite venue in NC. We missed the opening Come As You Are as they came out about 7:45. Ironically, my favorite version. Missin' Me> Dudley's is great, Trail of Tears a special Peter Rowan tune and a great Joyful> Round the Wheel Jam,> Tom Thumb closer. The wedding dedication to Dylan and Melissa takes on more meaning since they were lost a few years later, still a great Smile> Rivertrance set the stage for an epic set. The main highlight is of course the Rollover> Land's End> Rollover. That was one of the peak moments of all the concerts I've ever seen, and have heard the same from others. Also, a guy fell from the balcony during this and got up and kept dancing. This Incident locked String Cheese in as the band for me over 25 years ago. I've only seen them come close to it a few times, 7/4/03, 11/7/01, and 8/7/04 come to mind. Thanks Larry for all this excellent aged gouda!"
