- At its core, Doom Flamingo is a synthwave dance party featuring retro synthesizer sounds that conjure nostalgia for the music of 1980s pop culture. The project features Umphrey’s McGee’s bassist Ryan Stasik, who’d been looking for a local Charleston group with which to play.
